3A.1 Pertrochanteric or Intertrochanteric fracture treated with Chimaera Hip Fracture System™. The lag screw crosses the fracture line therefore a sliding lag screw is used. The supplementary lag screw is optional and used at the surgeon's discretion.

3A.2 Subtrochanteric fracture treated with Chimaera Hip Fracture System™. The lag screw does not cross the fracture line therefore a fixed lag screw is used.

3A.3 Pertrochanteric/Intertrochanteric and shaft fracture treated with Chimaera Hip Fracture System™, long nail. The lag screw crosses the fracture line therefore a sliding lag screw is used. The supplementary lag screw is optional and used at the surgeon's discretion.

3A.4 Subtrochanteric and shaft fracture treated with Chimaera Hip Fracture System™, long nail. The lag screw does not cross the fracture line therefore a fixed lag screw is used.

3A.5 Pertrochanteric fracture treated with PC.C.P. (Percutaneous Compression Plate).

3A.6 Pertrochanteric fracture treated using the Pertrochanteric Fixator. Use of HA-coated screws is recommended.
